Our Story
THE PASSION FOR PIZZA

Established in 2021, Fire Box Pizza is a wood fired pizza catering business operating in and around Ottawa, Ontario. We are a business that focuses on scratch made food, prepared on the spot, with fresh quality ingredients.
We bring the pizza party to you!
We show up at location with our 6-foot pizza oven trailer and set up a "Market Style" outdoor kitchen to make fresh pizzas on the spot.




Our goal is to share our true love for pizza, and quality, scratch made food. We aim to reshape the image and standards of what pizza can and should be.
Fire Box Pizza specializes in Neapolitan style pizzas made in the wood fired oven.
Thin base, quality simple fresh tomato sauce, just the right amount of mozzarella under the perfect amount of toppings. And most importantly, the light and airy yet still crunchy and puffy, golden fire kissed crust.
The way pizza should be.





Chef and Owner

Brendan Hill
Brendan is extremely passionate about cooking. He is a self taught chef, and started his cooking career in 2009. Brendan has worked solely in scratch kitchen restaurants, and that is where his true passion is. Born from a military family, discipline and attention to detail have always been strong morals for him. As a self proclaimed "connoisseur" of Italian food, Pizza, Pasta, Bread, and Pastries are certainly on the top of his list.
"Being a chef is one of the toughest but most rewarding career paths. There are no words for the feeling I get when I see guests truly enjoying the food I work so hard to produce, and knowing you are creating lasting memories and experiences."
The support and love we have received from the community touches our heart; we love to give back to the community and reciprocate that love.
Brendan believes in sharing knowledge and passing on cooking skills and traditions that he has picked up throughout his career in the industry.
